We have engineered quartz and natural stone samples for you to take home to view in your natural lighting. If we do not have a sample you are looking for, we will contact the stone vendor and have a sample shipped to your home.

We need a plan or sketch of your project and a stone selection. Also needed: edge profile selection, sink information, cutouts and what type of splash you need.

Typically, we can have you a bid within 24 to 48 business hours. An estimate will be sent from our estimating program, so you may need to check your email spam file.

Yes. If you would like the existing countertops removed, we can do that. We can remove Formica, Corian, Granite, Marble, Dolomite and Quartzite pending previous install inspection. We do not remove tops made from tile. Anything we remove will be taken to our shop for disposal. Please note that existing tops may break during the removal process. We do not know the age of the existing top or the quality of the stone.

Yes. We do special order most materials from our distributors. A typical turnaround time on special order items is approximately one to two weeks. Once we check with the distributor, we can confirm the delivery date of your selected material.

We do not as our team members are not trained or certified in plumbing, electrical or gas work. When we do a removal, you must have certified technicians disconnect and reconnect. It is best to schedule this type of work the day before we install and schedule the same technicians to come back the day after the install. This allows you full use of your kitchen all the way up to the day of countertop installation.

It is common to get a new sink and faucet with new countertops, but it’s not necessary. CG Granite Countertops can discuss your options whether you want to keep your existing or new sinks and faucets. Keeping a sink involves proper removal by a plumber of the existing sink and faucet.

Yes we do install dishwasher brackets. New cabinets have additional dishwasher brackets but we can install a dishwasher bracket at the top of the dishwasher to the bottom of the countertop. This extra bracket secures the dishwasher from moving.

We have a one year labor warranty. The quartz stone product you choose will have a warranty and a maintenance guide. You can research your stones on the internet to get more acquainted with your type of material. Natural stone does not have a warranty.

We can get your project templated within 2-5 business days of you contacting us. If you have construction or remodel dates such as cabinet delivery and installation, let us know these dates and we can plan our schedules to meet your templating need. To schedule a template, contact 224-541-4078 and ask for our “scheduler” or you can contact the sales representative you are working with. The amount of time needed to template varies with project size.

CG Granite Countertops owner, Cirenio and his son Joshua, personally measure your project in a professional manner. We ask that there is a homeowner, designer, project manager or contractor on site for the template. We may have questions and someone with project knowledge needs to be there to answer questions that may arise. All aspects of the job are discussed in detail at the template appointment such as: edge profile, corner radius size, supports, cabinet panel locations, range, sink, and the drilling of holes during fabrication or installation. Your sales representative will ask you these questions also. The CG Granite template staff will confirm.

Yes. We can template existing countertops. Removing the existing countertops is not necessary for precision templating. There are instances where removal of existing countertops may be necessary, but this is rare.

We strive to meet all of our scheduled templates and installation dates. We usually complete the fabrication 7 – 10 business days after templating. This means we can install the project. Sometimes material delivery is delayed, material is more difficult to fabricate and needs extra time, edge profile selections such as an Ogee or Mitered edge profile will also need additional fabrication time. We keep clients informed and we work hard to keep projects moving efficiently along.

We request the homeowner or a knowledgeable member of the project team (contractor, designer, project manager) be on premises during the measure (template) and installation process of your countertop project. We also request that you please have the area clear of belongings, pets kennelled, and children out of the reach of our equipment when we template and install.
